Not Your Typical Lazy Rich Interview

Lazy Rich is a very simple dude, a very humble guy as well, but his tracks are FAR from lazy. The first time I heard this guy’s work was when Porter Robinson played this in his first LA appearance at the Supper Club called Hello featuring the vocals of Sue Cho. Shit was crazy! His synth blaring funk bass beating “Better Wipe That Off” and the crazy second cousin with that buzzy bass follow-up “You Missed a Spot” (which I am waiting to purchase btw ;P). Don’t let the name fool you, he’s busy cleaning up the Electro scene.
dannahan: Lazy Rich - why? something that says i don’t have to do much to ball outta control or a play on words like crazy rich?
Lazy Rich: I liked Lazy by X-Press 2, well actually I LOVED it, so stole the word (my real name is Rich).
d: Originally from the UK, you moved to Canada. Why?
LR: Life is a bit slower and easier over here, plus I’m close to the States which is good for gigs.

LR: Sesame Seared Albacore Tuna
