Hey there -

We pushed a new version of foursquare to the iTunes Store last week.  Most of you have upgraded, but there’s still a few stragglers.   When you get a chance, you should upgrade - it should take about 30 seconds.

We’re making some big changes on our side of things and have to phase out the older versions of foursquare.  That means if you still have the old version, you won’t be able to check-in until you upgrade.

Not a huge deal. but sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for understanding.   Good things coming soon!

I hope this fixes iphone’s inability to add locations.  especially legit ones.
